Analog Hearing Aid

Analog hearing aids are considered older technology, and are actually no longer even made by some hearing aid manufacturers.

These aids are sometimes adjusted using a computer, but more often manual adjustments are made by the audiologist using a screwdriver. This type of adjustment does not allow for fine tuning precisely to an individual hearing loss. Other hearing aid features available with digital heairng aids such as noise cancellation and feedback management are also not available.
