Which is the best type of hearing aid?
Hearing aids are also available in a variety of styles, or sizes. Which style is right for you depends on several factors including your severity of hearing loss, listening needs and personal preference. Your audiologist will discuss the pros and cons of the different styles with you at your hearing aid evaluation appointment.
Do I need one hearing aid or two?
If you suffer from hearing loss in both ears, your audiologist will recommend two hearing aids. Research has shown that two hearing aids provide superior benefits for a majority of people and allows for more natural hearing by improving sound quality, reducing background noise and feedback and enhancing localization ability.
